Even through I am a one person band, as it where. I take my process from IT in corporate, thus below are my processes, returns and warrenty.

Returns
Returns for units/parts brought from ebay, you must raise a dispute via ebay following ebays policies, as that is were the money would be returned to you from.
Return Windows

Used PCs - 60 Day money back returns

System Integration/refurbished machines -60 days money back

Clearance units are 30 day money back returns

Parts are 30 days

Spares and repairs of all kinds are 14 day- change of mind only
Condition
Unit must be returned to me in the same condition it was shipped to you in, this includes the same parts. I have warranty seals on the unit so I know its been opened, if this is the case it may affect your refund.
Warranty
Here is my policy for warranty, these are offered on repairs/upgrades, what in includes and what it does not include
Warranty Windows

Refurbishments & SI builds - Regardless of which platform they were purchased its one year from date of purchase

Repairs/Upgrades - 3 Months warranty

Used/clearance and spares and repairs DO NOT have a warranty other than stated above.
Warranty includes

Bad workmanship/config - This is on me, if I fail to build/configure the unit correctly

Faulty/dead parts- Sometimes we are unlucky

Delivery related damage - Must be informed within 2 days of delivery taken place - Will ask for pictures of the damage, so it can be claimed on insurance of the coruier
What it does not include

Accidental damage/Liquid damage- unless its not the cause of the fault

Malicious damage/bad equipment handling

Poor repair/upgrade work - unless it was not the cause of the fault
I now employ a "seal" system on all my clearance, SI/Custom PCs, used & Refurbished PCs, this isn't designed to prevent you from opening the system, and doing upgrades/repairs yourself its designed to protect me a tiny sole trader business from misuse and fraudulent returns, should it be broken but its got all the original parts the return/warranty will be honered
